The prizes
Every month Star Tots hands out R10,000 in cash to the three babies with the most votes, exactly as set out in our competition rules. Entering is free — the prize pool is funded by vote packs and SMS votes, and we match the full top-3 prize amount to charity.

How prizes are paid
Winners are contacted by email after the announcement and paid by EFT within 14 days, into a South African bank account in the parent or guardian's name. We do not pay prizes into foreign accounts or in cash.
When winners are announced
Entries and voting close at midnight on the last day of each month. The top three are verified and announced one week later on the Winners page, and the next competition opens immediately.
